These stunning Mason’s Ironstone Serving Plates, one with a Well and Tree centre, are decorated in their renowned Inidian Grasshopper Pattern. Both bear the printed blue factory mark and date from circa 1820.

The Platters have the added charm of retaining their original, artisan-made hanging wires.

The condition is good with no restoration.

The colours are vibrant, the subject matter intriguing and the whole look reminiscent of Country House grandeur.
