This interesting English Pottery Mug is decorated with transfer prints of the famous Liberal Politicians, Sir Wilfrid Lawson, Bt, MP, and The Rt. Hon. W.E. Gladstone, MP. It dates from circa 1880.

Apart from the obvious discolouration, there is an underglaze chip to the footrim, both of which have occured during the making. There are no other chips, cracks or restoration.
