LARGE AESTHETIC MOVEMENT BROWNHILLS POTTERY JUG 1882
This very pleasing and unusually large Antique Staffordshire Aesthetic Movement Pottery Jug, decorated in the popular Japanesque style, bears the Victorian Registration Lozenge for 1882. It was made by Brownhills Pottery Company of Tunstall (1872-1896).
The Jug is fully marked and in good condition save for one short, fine hairline on the rim. There are no chips or restoration. It would make an ideal Flower Container.
Height: 12.5 inches (32 cm)
