This beautiful Pair of English Porcelain Oyster Plates, with gilded scallop shells and pink seaweed decoration, date from circa 1870.

The Plates are not marked but are similar in quality to Minton. They bear a hand-painted pattern number 5 over 2560, to the back.

The condition is good. There are no cracks, chips or restoration.
