This wonderful Pair of English Georgian Blue and White Transfer Printed Pottery Plates date from circa 1820.
Unmarked, they are believed to be from either the Liverpool Herculaneum Pottery or William Walsh of Newcastle Street, Burslem, Staffordshire Potteries.
The transfer print, which shows the Mausoleum of Sultan Purveiz Near Allahabad and the procession of the Moghul or Mohammedan Governor of Delhi, is well detailed and clear.
Good condition with no restoration.
