GEORGIAN BLUE & WHITE GORHAMBURY SERVING PLATE c1830

This gorgeous English Blue & White Serving Plate dates from circa 1830. It was made by John Meir at Greengates Pottery, Tunstall (1812-36) with their signature Crown, Acorn and Oak Leaf Border.

The Plate shows a view of Gorhambury, Hertfordshire and is marked as such in a printed cartouche on the back.

The condition is good. There are no cracks, chips or restoration.
