This interesting Copeland and Garrett ‘New Blanche’ Blue and White Serving Plate dates from circa 1840.

It is decorated with a Chinoiserie style pattern featuring an exotic Phoenix-like Bird and a large Vase.  There are two old surface nibbles to the edge (at about 2 o’clock) and an old, short hairline to the rim.

There is no restoration.

A lovely Blue and White Transfer Printed Serving Plate in an attractive pattern.
