This Grand Pair of English Staffordshire Dogs, decorated with gilt highlights, date from circa 1860.

They have well-defined feathering to their coats, large curled tails and collars, chains and padlocks.

The Dogs are in good condition with no restoration. There is an old, surface chip to the foot of the right side Dog (please see photograph). This is not seen from the front.

An impressive Pair of Victorian Staffordshire Dogs that display beautifully.
