This well-detailed and colourfully painted Victorian Staffordshire Toby Jug is entitled ‘Merry Christmas’ on the front edge, in relief.
The jolly, bearded gentleman is holding a basket with a rabbit on top. In some parts of England it was tradition to eat rabbit pie for breakfast on Christmas morning.
The condition is good with no restoration.
