This well-designed Victorian Cast Iron Boot Scraper dates from circa 1880.

With traces of the original paint, the Scraper is crisply cast and incorporates Acanthus Leaf detail.

The number 209 is stamped on the top rail, with the initials W I on the underside of the base.

There are no cracks or repairs. It is strong and substantial.

The Scraper can either be left as it is, with all its present charm, or repainted according to choice.
