This Regency Inlaid Mahogany Coffee Table, with Rosewood Crossbanding to the top and legs, dates from c1820. There is an Ebony stringing line to the edge of the top.

The Table stands on 4 legs, each terminating in an original brass castor. Having 4 legs makes the Table sturdy, stable and secure.

The top has well chosen veneers which make a pleasing contrast to the Rosewood inlay.

As was often the case, during its lifetime the height of the Table has been adjusted to fulfill the needs of a modern home.
