This Pair of Victorian Copper Raised Pie Moulds date from circa 1890.  One is stamped F.W. & Co 950 2 to the outer rim.

The impressed decoration to the sides, of stylised Fushcia Flowers and Foliage, is well-defined and very attractive.  It would make the pastry sides of a pie look amazing.  The original tinned finish is still visible on the outside.

One of the fixing pins to the mould without the base has lost its top hook and needs easing out with pliers.   The Mould which retains its original base does not appear to have been opened for a very long time but, I am assuming, with gentle easing it will dismantle as it should.  The fixing pins come out quite easily.

There is one pin prick hole to the vein of a leaf.

An exciting and rare find.
