PAIR GERMAN PORCELAIN OWL LAMP BASES c1880

This very striking Pair of Antique German Porcelain Owl Lamp Bases date from circa 1880.

They stand approximately 11 inches (28 cm) high and have alert, inquisitive faces.

One of the Owls has chips to the stalks and ivy leaves, while the other Owl has been broken through at the legs and has an old pin repair.  There are also chips to the stalks and ivy leaves.

The Owls’ glass eyes all seem to be original, one is cracked.
