LARGE STAFFORDSHIRE ADAMS ‘BRAMBLE’ VASE/URN c1860

£365.00

SKU: 2112

Standing an impressive 13 inches (33 cm) high, this beautiful Staffordshire Two-Handled Vase or Urn bears the mark of W. Adams of Tunstall. The Pattern name is ‘Bramble’ and it dats from circa 1860.
The Vase is highlighted with gilt, with a particularly attractive beaded collar around the neck.
How splendid it would look filled with a large bunch of English Country Green Flowers and Foliage,
There is an old surface ship to the foot rim beneath one handle which can be seen in the photograph of the side. This is not readily seen when viewed from the front.
There is no restoration.
At one time the Vase probably had a cover.
