LARGE REGENCY GILT PIER GLASS DRESSING MIRROR c1830

This Large Regency Gilt Pier Glass Dressing Mirror stand 60 inches (153 cm) tall.

The fluted frame retains its original gilding with signs of the red and black bole beneath.

The wooden, panelled back bears an old paper label advertising’ R. Nurse Carver-Gilder, Picture & Glass Frame Manufacturer, 27 St. James Street, Lynn.  Ladies Needle Work Neatly Framed & Glaz’d.  Old Glasses Polished.  (Eldridge, Lynn’.

In good, original, unrestored condition.  The old glass has slight spotting at the base.

The Mirror is sturdy and has four mirror plates on the back for hanging.
