This Fine Pair of Wedgwood Majolica Green Leaf Plates date from circa 1870.

The pattern and detail are extraordinarily sophisticated with a great effect achieved by the contrast of light and shade. The border of grapes and wines the weave and latticework and the oak leaf and acorn garland are really splendid.

The Plates are fully marked to the base.

There are no cracks chips or restoration. There are a couple of tiny glaze nicks to the edge of one plate.
