This unusual English Regency Porcelain Painted Mug, handpainted with a charming scene of two young girls playing at being horses driven by a young boy wearing a mortar board, dates from circa 1830.

The costumes are so colourful and painted in fine detail. This is not a transfer print.

The condition is good with no cracks or restoration just a small chip to the foot rim.
