This signed EDNA BIZON (b1929) Still Life Oil Painting of Shells dates from the early 1960s.  The George Rowney canvas is stamped with their ‘K Quality’ Mark which they used in the early 1960s.

The open-grained, colour-washed wooden frame would appear to be original.

The painting is in original, unrestored condition.  There is a small patch of wear to the bottom left corner which is shown in the photographs.

The painting is worked on a 12 inch by 10 inch canvas.
