This delightful Antique Majolica Jardiniere, with applied Iris decoration, bears the Factory Mark for Bretby (Tooth & Co, Derbyshire) and the Design Registration Number 300811.

The lovely liquid Majolica Glazes and the 3-D effect achieved by the applied petals of the Irises give this Jardiniere a stunning, artistic presence.

The condition is good.  There are some discreet surface chips to the petals, mainly to the underside.  There is no restoration.
