This elegant Pair of Regency Bronze and Marble Candlesticks date from circa 1830.

The juxtaposition of the bronze and marble works well. The bronze has a beautiful patina and the marble is gentle and retiring.

Each Candlestick is raised on a Classical Triform Paw Foot.

The Candlesticks seem to have lead an exciting life and have a few battle scars. One corner of the marble base has been repaired and there are a few chips to the marble.

They will give many more years of pleasure and, at £325, are not a King’s Ransom.
