This attractive Killarney Ware Inlaid Book Slide, with panels depicting the romantic Irish idyll, dates from circa 1880.

It is made from Arbutus Wood.  ‘Killarney Lakes’ is pricked into the wood on one edge.

In good original condition with a rich colour and patina.

Length:  15 inches (37.5 cm)

Depth:  4.75 inches (12 cm)

The Slide can be opened to a maximum of 25 inches (64 cm)
