This Irish Arts and Crafts Carved Oak Book Stand bears the label of The Bray Art Furniture Industry, Bray, County Wicklow.  This Art Furniture Industry was formed as a Co-operative Society in 1905 and employed up to 50 Craft Workers whose works included domestic furniture fashioned from native woods.

The ends are beautifully carved with stylised Thistles and, what look to be, Poppies, in the Arts and Crafts Manner,

In good, original condition,
